We wish you a Merry X-Mas... - Additi
Additi Gupta: I was never so fascinated about Christmas at school because I never got any gifts. As kids, we used to hang socks believing that Santa would fill it with presents. But my parents never encouraged that because they did not want us to be fooled (laughs). This year Christmas will be a beautiful day but just another day. This year I am really looking forward for the response to my new show on Life OK.

A comedy for Additi Gupta now
Most people expected actress Additi Gupta to create wonders in the industry after her successful debut with the serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil.

But it seems like the actress failed to play her cards well and her career didn't shape up as speculated. Gupta played a grey character named Pihu in Sanjog Se Bani Sangini after her debut show. This flopped and her role was labelled as an inconsequential one. She was reduced to just being a sidekick on the show. The actress, however, had no qualms of having had essayed Pihu. But now she is back in a role she is meant to play. Aditi will play the protagonist in one of the upcoming shows for a channel that's soon going to be revamped. A source informs us, "She will be seen playing a girl in her twenties who is bubbly, cute, and happy go lucky. In fact Additi's quite like this character in real life too. The show is a light-hearted situational comedy."
